1. Who we are

AODYO, S.A.R.L. with a capital of 5 000 €, registered under number 943 681 346 RCS Lille Métropole, VAT FR 13 943 681 346, whose registered office is at 24 rue de Marcq-en-Baroeul, 59290 Wasquehal, France (“Aodyo”, “we”), operates the website aodyo.com and its online shop.

2. What data we collect and why

Orders and invoicing. When you place an order we collect your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, company name and VAT number if provided, and the details of your purchase. Legal basis: performance of the contract, and legal obligations for invoicing and accounting. Payment card data is processed directly by our payment providers (see section 4), Aodyo never stores your card details.

Customer account. If you create an account we store your email address, your name if provided, your order history and your saved cart. Legal basis: performance of the contract. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Customer support and repairs. When you write to contact@aodyo.com we keep the correspondence and the information needed to handle your request, including repair file details. Legal basis: performance of the contract and our legitimate interest in providing support.

Abandoned cart reminders. If you start an order and leave the site, we may send you a limited number of reminder emails about the cart you created, with an unsubscribe link in each email. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in following up a purchase you initiated. You can opt out at any time.

Newsletter. If you subscribe, we use your email address to send you news about Aodyo instruments. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link.

Statistics. With your consent (cookie banner), we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Legal basis: consent. See our Cookie Policy.

Push notifications. If you accept browser notifications, WonderPush processes a technical identifier of your browser to deliver them. Legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw in your browser settings at any time.

3. How long we keep your data

• Orders and invoices: 10 years (French accounting obligations)
• Chatbase (Chatbase, Inc., USA): powers the “Assistant Aodyo” chat widget on the site. The messages you type in the chat are processed by Chatbase to generate answers. Please do not share payment details or sensitive personal data in the chat.
• Customer account: until you delete it or after prolonged inactivity
• Abandoned cart data: deleted after 365 days
• Support correspondence: 3 years after the last exchange
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe

4. Who receives your data

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the shop:

• SiteGround (hosting of the website)
• Brevo (sending of transactional and marketing emails)
• WooPayments / Stripe and PayPal (payment processing; PayPal may process data outside the EU under its own safeguards)
• Google (Analytics statistics, only after your consent; data may be transferred outside the EU under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework)
• WonderPush (push notifications)
• Carriers, for delivering your order

We never sell your personal data.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise a right, write to contact@aodyo.com; we answer within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).

6. Cookies

Cookies and similar technologies are managed through the consent banner and described in our Cookie Policy. You can change your choices at any time via the “Manage consent” tab on the site.

7. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, access to customer data is restricted, and our providers are bound by data processing agreements.
