The Sylphyo as an electronic trumpet or MIDI trumpet

With its trumpet fingering, the Sylphyo can be used by trumpeters as an electronic trumpet or MIDI trumpet. The right index, middle, and ring finger keys function like the three valves of the trumpet, while the left hand controls what is usually achieved using the mouth on a traditional trumpet. Trumpeters familiar with the EVI system will immediately feel right at home.

The air column of the Sylphyo allows for a wide range of breath control dynamics and precise level and tonguing nuances, matching the rich playing range of the trumpet.

Its mouthpiece enables comfortable control without the risk of producing any acoustic sound, making silent practice possible and allowing you to get the various sound benefits of an electronic instrument
